In addition to the Nokia G21 smartphone, HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia G11 running Android 11. This model will go on sale next month.
The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch response rate of 180 Hz. The waterdrop notch at the top of the screen houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone runs the Unisoc T606 processor, functioning in collaboration with 3 GB of RAM. The 32 GB flash module can expand with a microSD card (up to 512 GB). The 5050mAh rechargeable battery supports 18W charging, but a 10W charger is in the box.
The triple rear camera contains a 13MP main unit, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a side fingerprint scanner.
The equipment includes Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, an NFC controller, an FM tuner, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Dimensions are 164.6 × 75.9 × 8.5 mm, weight – 189 g.
The Nokia G11 comes in Charcoal and Ice colors, is priced at AED 499 (about $135) and will be available in UAE starting from March 23rd. It will also be available in the UK in March.

New Nokia smartphones can now be initially protected from damage and drowning
Nokia smartphone maker HMD Global has recently announced new protection plans and extended warranties for its devices. The Finnish company offers a new option for those customers who worry about the durability of their devices.
The extended warranty for Nokia smartphones costs between $19 and $99 in the US and offers an additional 12 months of warranty beyond the device’s original warranty period, covering defects and unexpected mechanical or electrical failures.
The company also introduced protection plans useful for those customers who frequently drop or drown their smartphones. The first plan is for 14 months, the second offers protection for 24 months. In terms of pricing, these new security plans for Nokia smartphones range from $24 to $189.
