Last year, in September, the Redmond-based company unleashed the Surface Go 3 alongside the Surface Laptop Studio and Surface Pro 8. However, it was not in the spotlight unlike the rest two. We mean if the latter two Microsoft products came with many upgraded features as well as new design, it only got slightly changed in terms of a few specs. For instance, it was using the same Pentium Gold processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB eMMC storage. And all for these, you have to pay only $399. As for now, the company released the 4G LTE version of this convertible. But it costs a bit more, $499.
Surface Go 3
While you might think this is not a big deal, in fact, it is. Prior to this, Microsoft has been releasing cellular Surface Go models as well. But this feature has been limited to the highest-end models only. Say, you could get your hands on the Intel Core i3 version. But as you understand, it would also support a 4G LTE network. Apart from this, the tablet also camera with 8GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. This version costs $729.
Now, you can purchase the entry-level model of the Surface Go 3 for $499. For this price, you will get a dual-core Pentium Gold 6500Y, 4GB RAM, and 64GB eMMC. Agree that the difference is obvious. We mean the Surface Go 3 supporting 4G LTE connectivity won’t provide the same performance as the high-end model. But the cheaper version of the tablet will ensure faster connectivity.

This means you won’t have to set up your phone as a hot spot to connect to the internet anymore. We guess this feature is especially helpful for students.
What Else
Just keep in mind that for $499 you will get the Surface Go 3 with 4G LTE only. Thus, you have to acquire the keyboard separately. If you want the Surface Pen too, the latter must be purchased separately. (Just remember that this tablet still uses the previous Surface Pen and not the Slim Pen 2 used with a Surface Pro 8 or Laptop Studio.)
As for the rest of the features, the Surface Go 3 is as light as 544 grams, sports a 1080p camera, a matrix far-field dual microphone, Dolby sound, and a 10.5-inch 1920 x 1280 resolution touchscreen.
There is no black version of the Surface Go 3 4G LTE version. It is available for order in the United States and will go on sale on March 28.
