According to Digital Chat Station, the Reno 8 Pro will bring the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Furthermore, it will come with a MariSilicon X NPU to boost the camera’s capabilities. It has 188 grams of weight and just 7.57 mm of overall thickness. It may also bring an X-axis linear motor and NFC support, the design will quite resemble the OnePlus 10 series.
The Reno 8, on the other hand, is more modest. The device has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED with a “just” 90 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will bring the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC which is a tweaked version of the last year’s 1200. The device will be even more sleek weighing just 179 grams and just 7.67 mm in thickness.
In terms of optics, both devices will bring at least a 50 MP main camera and a 32 MP selfie snapper. Both devices will bring the same 4,500 mAh battery with 80 W fast-charging support. We also know there is an Oppo Reno 8 SE coming along with these devices. Furthermore, there are rumors about an Oppo Reno 8 Pro+. This variant may see a release later this year.
