At the WWDC conference yesterday, Apple officially released the iOS 16 system. We know that millions of iOS users are eager to use this system. However, we must warn that the system is not perfect at the moment. This is usually the case with any newly released system, nothing peculiar to Apple. According to a MyDrivers report quoting Ben Geskin, the battery life of his iPhone 13 Pro dropped 3% instantly after the update. He claims that his battery was at 100% before the update and after the update, it hit 97%.

Ben Gesking claims that this should be a bug in iOS 16. He further argues that an update can’t drop battery health by 3%. Well, as of now, we can be so certain that this is a bug with the iOS 16 system. It could just be the update process for this system considering that it’s a new system. Possibly, Apple will optimize it with time.
Apple iOS 16 comes with some key upgrades for lock screen, security, and privacy. On iOS 16, swiping can replace more lock screen interfaces, and users can adjust the color, font, etc. of the wallpaper. Furthermore, widgets can be added, such as schedule, temperature, etc. In addition, iOS 16 has added a security check function to protect the personal safety of users. Specifically, the security check allows users to use the emergency reset button, which stops sharing location and resets system privacy permissions for all apps.

iOS 16 Lock Screen
The new lock screen allows users to customize the way the date and time appear. Each small element can have different colors with distinct shades, and different photos. Users can even add widgets to the new lock screens. It does not matter if you’re using a photo, static wallpaper, or any of the new live wallpapers. The lock screen offers a deep level of customization.
Android support widgets on Lockscreen in the past, but this feature is no longer available. Now, iOS brings this feature allowing users to customize their iPhone or iPad lock screen with their favorite or more essential widgets. The widgets will appear below the date and time. To make room for that, the notifications are now more discrete.
