Way back in May, AOC launched its first Porsche Design co-branded mini LED display PD32M. The panel was a 31.5-inch display with 4K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The product reached the Chinese market with a price tag of 8888 Yuan. Now, AOC is bringing a new AOC Agon Porsche Design Display with the PD27S model number. The new panel brings a 27-inch diagonal and has a 2K resolution plus an impressive 170 Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the product costs CNY 3,199 ($473), but there is a starting deal that brings the price down to CNY 2999 ($443).
According to the report, the new AOC Agon Porsche Design Display uses a metal base bracket. The design is clearly inspired by Porsche supercar wheels. In addition to that, the monitor features ambient lighting and AOC and Porsche Design logos when powered on.

Gizchina News of the week
Interestingly, earlier this year, AOC launched the Agon PD27 with Porsche Design. The product has a VA LCD with the same 27-inches as the new model. Moreover, it brings a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution. In counterpart to the newer AOC Agon Porsche Design Display PD27s, the old model has a higher 240 Hz refresh rate.
The design is also slightly different. It also has DisplayHDR 400 certification with a peak brightness of 400 nits. Furthermore, this panel had two speakers with 5 W and DTS audio tech.
We are curious to see if the new PD27S will reach other markets. Computer monitors are certainly trending, and this premium product has enough pomp to make loyal fans across the world. This certainly is a more traditional panel when compared to the LG DualUP display launched in the last month.
