Vivo’s high end Mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V25 Pro is coming out this Wednesday. The Vivo V series has been one of the most popular Vivo smartphones around and Vivo is much determined to keep this model getting even more popular.
As confirmed by Gizchina, the latest edition, the Vivo V25 Pro is set to launch in India this Wednesday, August 17 2022. It will however go on sale from August 25 in India.
As a popular device, we are much aware that it has a very large fanbase which keeps growing. So we have decided to make things easier for you by sharing with you all that is there to expect in terms of specifications and more.
In terms of looks, camera and other specs, a lot of these rumors have already surfaced online. Rumors are rumors, so they can be true or not. But as the launch draws nearer, we have all the confirmed details to share with you.
Design And Build Quality Of The Vivo V25 Pro
As I stated earlier, Vivo is keen to keep the Vivo V series as competitive as possible within the mid-range market. As such, the V25 Pro may possibly come with a more flagship looking framework than its predecessors.
It will come in a Matte glass back panel which also features Vivo’s own Matte Glass material engineering. This is the same technology that Vivo used in last year’s Vivo V23. This is a unique back glass coating. This tech allows the color of the back panel to completely change to a whole new color. This change happens depending on how sun rays or other UV rays hit the surface of the back panel.
To make the Vivo V25 less Slippery and enhance strong grip when holding the phone, Vivo also made the side panel with a strong Matte material.
Facing the device, Vivo has confirmed that the front panel will feature a 3D AMOLED screen. This will be a curved design unlike the flat panel that the previous editions used. Also the notch design in the V23 will squeeze down to a punch-hole cutout. This will give room for a bigger screen to body ratio.
Gizchina News of the week
Another notable change in specs we can confirm is that, the Vivo V25 Pro’s Full HD+ AMOLED Display will have a higher refresh rate of 120Hz instead of the 90Hz refresh rate featured in the previous edition.
In terms of available colors, the Vivo V25 will launch in two different colors. The Midsummer Blue and a black color. But also keep in mind that you will have the opportunity to enjoy more colors beyond these two colors since the back panel has the ability to change to others colors.
Vivo V25 Pro Other Specs And Price
To compete with other popular midrange smartphones such as the OnePlus Nort 2T and the OPPO Reno 8, the Vivo V25 Pro will be coming with the same chipsets that powers these phones. For this reason, the Dimensity 1300 SoC from Mediatek will be the main engine to power the V25 Pro.
The Dimensity 1300 will also be supported by a RAM of 8GB to ensure efficient delivery of power to the device. There is a little icing on the cake here though. The Vivo V25 Pro will also pack in Vivo’s virtual RAM technology. This technology allows the user to allocate some part of the phone’s internal storage as an additional RAM to make the total RAM even larger.
Talking of internal storage, the Vivo V25 Pro is expected to come with two storage options. We will have the 125GB option and of course a 256GB option. The device will also gain its power from a 4,830mAh battery pack. Filling the bateery up will also be a 66W Vivo SuperFast charger which should come bundled with the phone.
Vivo V25 Pro Camera, Software And Price
As rumored earlier, the Vivo V25 Pro should come with a triple camera setup just like its predecessor. The main camera is also going to be a 64MP sensor. The other two will be ultra wide lens with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and a Macro lens. The front facing camera will also feature a 32MP sensor.
The device is also expected to come with Android 12 which will dress in Vivo’s latest Funtouch OS 12.1 skin on top.
What we can’t confirm here is the actual price of the device. But we don’t expect the device to go beyond 40,000 INR (509 US Dollars) in India.
