Poco has officially unveiled the M5 and M5s, two new 4G smartphones, today. There are cheaper alternatives to its 5G devices. There will be a ton of presentations on smartphones this week. This Wednesday, Apple will have a keynote to introduce the iPhone 14, and on September 8, Motorola will make new announcements. Poco also introduces its new sòqrtphones, the M5 and M5s, prior to this spike.
The new Poco smartphones, unlike the most recent M4 5G, arrive with the 4G network compatibility, so do not look here for extremely advanced devices. The Poco M5s has the better hardware out of the two. The smartphone has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, which is noteworthy given its price range. A MediaTek Helio G95 CPU and 4 to 6 GB of RAM power the smartphone. The smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery, like many other devices, and, for entry-level needs, delivers a charge that is a bit slower than that of the brand’s other devices, at 33 W.
The Poco M5 and M5s smartphones are here at affordable prices
The Poco M5s has a a 64 MP main camera module with a wide-angle f/1.8 lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle with an f/2.2 lens, a 2 MP macro module with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. Keep in mind that the smartphone has a microSD connector, allowing you to store the captured photographs on a memory card. Additionally, a headphone jack, a fingerprint reader, and IP53 certification are present.
Gizchina News of the week
From September 12, the Poco M5s will be available for €229.90 (about $228) for the 4/64 GB model. And €249.90 (about $248) for the 4/128 GB model. Pricing that puts it head-to-head with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. One of the most popular smartphones in this price range.
The 6.58-inch screen of the Poco M5 (2048 x 1080 pixels), which is even more reasonably priced, uses LCD technology. The extremely latest MediaTek Helio G99 processor and 4 GB of RAM are available. Although there is a headphone jack plug and extendable storage capacity here as well, the IP53 certification does not exist. With the loss of the super wide-angle module from the M5s, the smartphone is also lower in the photography area. It features a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and 2MP modules. Although it claims to have a battery capacity of 5000 mAh, its charging speed is just 18 W. However, the M5’s retail pricing for the 4 / 64 GB variant is € 189.90 (about $188).
This is coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage along with the Mediatek 4G processor.
All the features along with the integrated Mediatek Helio G99 processor makes this smartphone quite efficient.
