Huawei Mate 50 series 5G communication case has three types

Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, will officially release its latest flagship series in a few hours. Over the past few weeks, there have been a couple of reports regarding this series. The Huawei Mate 50 series is already a year late thus Huawei fans are so excited for the launch event. From the reports so far, the Huawei Mate 50 series will have four models. We will have the Huawei Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design. The fourth model will be the Huawei Mate 50e but there is no confirmation for this model. All these smartphones are 4G models. However, there will be a 5G communication case for these devices.

5G communication case models

Recently, three 5G communication mobile phone cases of the Mate 50 series have entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The models are SY108-618, SY108-658, and SY108-688. According to reports, these models will correspond to three models of the Mate 50 series. The manufacturer is Shuyuan Technology Co., Ltd.

Huawei Mate 50 series

According to posters from third-party merchants, the Huawei Mate 50 series will also support 5G mobile phone cases. The price of this 5G smartphone case is 799 yuan. This is the same price as the previous Huawei P50 Pro 5G communication case. The Huawei P50 Pro uses an eSIM chip and a 5G modem embedded in the mobile phone case to upgrade the mobile phone network from 4G to 5G. It is developed and produced by Soyealink. The official configuration data shows that the “5G communication case” weighs about 52g. The thickness of the large surface is about 3.2mm, and it has two options – light grey and leather material.

According to previous reports, all the smartphones in the Mate 50 series (except the Mate 50e) will use SM8425 chip (Snapdragon 8 Gen1 4G version). The Huawei Mate 50e will come with a mid-range Snapdragon 778G SoC.
