On September 7, the Cupertino-based tech giant unleashed the iPhone 14 series of smartphones. The lineup includes four models – two with humbler features and two with top-end specs. Three out of four models are already on sale. Thus, the customers have already managed to get their hands on the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and the heaviest and biggest Max version. The last one from the series, the iPhone 14 Plus, will start shipping on October 7.
Current sales data show that consumer demand for the iPhone 14 Pro model is high compared to the iPhone 13 Pro series. Moreover, the newly-released Apple Watch Ultra is sold like hotcakes, outrunning all the previous smartwatches of the company.

According to JP Morgan’s Apple Product Availability Tracker, the current iPhone 14 standard version has a relatively short delivery time, but the Pro model still has a longer delivery time. As the study shows, across multiple regions, consumers could receive an iPhone 14 in an average of three days.
In addition, the average delivery time for the Pro version is 35 days. Whereas the Pro Max has 41 days of delivery time.
“Relative to the iPhone 13 series, lead times are shorter for the base iPhone 14 model, but more extended for the Pro and Pro Max models,” the note claims.
iPhone 14 Sales In Various Regions
As for concrete regions and markets, the delivery of the iPhone 14 Standard Edition in the United States is 4 days. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini both took 19 to 21 days to deliver. Lead times for the iPhone 14 Pro and Max are 35 days and 42 days, respectively.
In China, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro models have slowed slightly. However, the lead times for each size are still longer at 39 days and 46 days, respectively. In comparison, the iPhone 13 Pro models had 40 days of delivery time. The iPhone 14 Plus will commence shipping on October 7, while the iPhone 14 ships the next day. Both are significantly faster than the 21-day delivery time for the 2021 iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini.

Demand for the iPhone 14 Pro models in Germany and the UK is equally strong. The iPhone 14 standard version ships in 3 days. For Pro models, iPhone 14 Pro delivery times are the same as for iPhone 13 Pro models.
Apple Watch Ultra has reached a lead time of 37 days. A week ago, it was just 34 days. The Apple Watch Series 8 is now shipping in 25 days, up from 28 days a week ago.
Apple Watch SE 2 lead times have dropped slightly from 8 days in the first week to 6 days. The AirPods Pro 2 earphones are in high demand in the US and Germany. The first batches will arrive on September 23.
Apple Makes Adjustments in Production
In this regard, Ming-Chi Kuo pointed out that Apple had asked Foxconn to switch the production line of the iPhone 14 to the Pro model. In other words, Apple is increasing the fourth-quarter Pro iPhone shipment forecast by about 10%.

Also, he added that “Based on the production line conversion rate, it’s equivalent to an increase in the shipment forecast of iPhone 14 Pro models in 4Q22 by about 10%. Only a few component suppliers’ order changes currently reflect Hon Hai’s production line conversion (e.g., Samsung Display). I expect that most of the suppliers should also receive order increase requests for iPhone 14 Pro models from Apple in the next few weeks.”
