However, recent reports suggest that the company may not hit its shipment target this year. Out of this number, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 / Flip 4 accounts for about 8 million units.

Gizchina News of the week

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 / Flip 4 shipment is positive

In the same period of last year, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 / Flip3 foldable smartphones had about 7.1 million units. This means that the Galaxy Z Fold4 / Flip4 already has a 13% increase in shipment. Nevertheless, the company has still not met its shipment target for the year.

According to the reports, this situation is mainly due to the global economic situation. The lower than expected shipmentĀ  has nothing to do with the quality or marketing of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 / Flip4 foldable smartphones.

According to a previous report, data analysis agency Omdia claims the Galaxy Z Fold4 / Flip4 will ship 11 million units by the end of this year. From the outlook of the market, Samsung will not ship up to 15 million foldable smartphones this year. Recent forecasts which include the Galaxy Z Fold 3 / Flip 3 show that Samsung will ship 13 million foldable smartphones this year.
