The Xiaomi 13 Pro will upgrade its main camera to the Sony IMX989 with a 1-inch ultra-large bottom. Compared with the Sony IMX707 of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the photosensitive area increases by 72%. In addition, the photosensitive capacity increases by 76%. Furthermore, the camera speed increases by 32.5% while the startup speed increases by 11%. The Sony IMX989 sensor is not the only attractive aspect of this smartphone. There are also reports that the Xiaomi 13 series will come with a 2K curved screen. Of course, several speculations confirm this device to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. However, there is no official comment from the company regarding the chip. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will adopt a new “1+2+2+3” eight-core architecture design. The super core of this flagship processor will upgrade to the Cortex X3. The performance of this core is 22% higher than Cortex X2’s performance. In addition, the large core will upgrade to the Cortex A715. This core relative to the previous Cortex A710 has a 5% increase in its performance. Furthermore, its energy efficiency is also 20% higher than the previous generation.
