Popular manufacturer SmartQ have unveiled their latest offering in the SmartQ Ten5, a tablet with a 9.7 inch screen and a dual core Exynos processor!

The tablet comes with an Exynos 5250 chipset from Samsung, which houses a dual core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, a Mali-T604 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. The tablet will also feature a 3 mega-pixel front camera, however, there will be no camera on the rear of the device. The device will have a ‘retina’ resolution of 2048 x 1536 on its 9.7 inch screen, and will be powered by a 7,500mAh battery. Measuring 220.4 x 175 x 9 mm, the SmartQ Ten5 weighs 549g.
The tablet is expected to be available in December, and is priced 1,299 Yuan ($213).

Looks very interesting …how powerful is the dual Exynos 5250 chipset…..compared to the quad RK3188…sufficient to drive that 2048 x 1536 screendo you think?
The 5250 is a decent chipset, and has a more advanced Cortex A15 architecture. However, I doubt if it will be able to drive the high-res screen as well as the tried-and-tested RK3188 does!
