Vivo’s iQOO is preparing to launch a new flagship in the market dubbed iQOO 11 5G. The device will hit Malaysia soon and can become the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered phone to escape China. Yesterday, with the launch of the Vivo X90 Pro+, the company became the first brand to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Xiaomi and Motorola are also coming with their champions, but they will be limited to China for a few weeks. Meanwhile, the iQOO 11 5G will appear in Malaysia on December 2. Ahead of the launch, a couple of design renders appear to depict the phone’s design.

A poster emerged on the web, confirming the launch date, and showing one of the iQOO 11 models. This particular iQOO 11 unit has a White colorway on the back with vertical racing stripes. Apparently, iQOO is sticking with this design language for another generation. However, it will ditch the carbon fiber decoration. So it’s not exactly similar to the previous iQOO 10 series. The device features a rectangular camera module with a metallic part with some words engraved. Through the image, it’s impossible to read it, but in the black glass portion of the island, we can see the “V2”. It basically confirms the presence of the Vivo V2 custom ISP to improve photography.
iQOO 11 5G alleged specifications
According to the leaks, the vanilla iQOO 11 will pack a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED with Quad HD+ resolution. It will also bring up to 144HZ of refresh rate. Moving to the back, the phone has a 50 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultrawide snapper, and an 8 MP macro camera. The vanilla model will also bring a 5,000 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 leads the show. Meanwhile, the iQOO 11 Pro is set to charge faster at a 200W rate, but with a smaller 4,700 mAh battery. Both phones will run Android 13 straight out of the box.
