The Redmi K60 series smartphones’ key specifications have surfaced online before launch, courtesy of a noted leaker. Xiaomi is prepping to launch new smartphones under the K60 series in China.
In the meantime, the K60 series has been floating around the rumor mill. Also, the upcoming smartphones have been subject to a lot of leaks lately.
To recap, recently leaked design renders gave us a glimpse into the K60 series’ outward appearance. Moreover, details about the Redmi K60 smartphone’s processor and camera setup were revealed earlier this month.
Past leaks show that the K60 5G will pack a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Also, the handset will reportedly come with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
Redmi K60 Series Specifications (Expected)
It is likely to ship with up to 12GB of RAM as well. The Redmi K60 will reportedly support OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The device might get MediaTek’s flagship SoC, according to a report by MySmartPrice.
Now, tipster Kacper Skrzypek has shared the Redmi K60 series specifications. According to the leaker, the K60 series will comprise the vanilla K60, K60 Pro, and K60E smartphones.

Moreover, Kacper has revealed the upcoming devices’ codenames. Notably, the Redmi K60 carries the codename, Socrates. Likewise, the K60 Pro has the codename, Mondrian.
Lastly, the Redmi K60E has the codename, Rembrandt. Aside from this, Kacper claims the vanilla K60 will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Pro model will get a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, while the K60E will feature a MediaTek chipset.
This could turn out to be the Dimensity 9200 or Dimensity 8200 processor. Earlier reports suggest the vanilla model will carry an affordable price tag.
The K60 5G will sport a 6.67-inch display that supports a 2K resolution. The handset will reportedly use a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging support.
Also, the device might have an in-display fingerprint scanner and ship with up to 12GB of RAM. The K60 5G will probably feature a 64MP main camera sensor with OIS. Aside from this, it might get an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera on the back. Upfront, it has a 16MP shooter for selfies.
