Samsung has been quite busy since the beginning of November. The company released the stable version of the One UI 5.0 Based on Android 13 some few weeks ago. Since the release of the new operating system, the South Korean tech company has been busily pushing the OS to its smartphone users around the world.
The Samsung S22 series were the first devices on the list to get their hands on this new update. Other older versions like the S21 series also got their updates some few days after. This week, Samsung has begun a new update roll-out to more Samsung devices.
Users of Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy M53, the US version of Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 are now getting the new system update this week.
Samsung One UI 5.0 Update For Galaxy S10 Lite
Amongst all these phones, the main talking point here is the Samsung S10 Lite. The Samsung S10 Lite is quite an old phone compared to other smartphones that are getting the Android 13 update.
Gizchina News of the week
This shows how much Samsung is committed to fulfilling its three year system updates promise. Owing to the fact that the S10 Lite is also three years old. If there is supposed to be any other phone that deserved this update, many will argue that it should rather be the Galaxy S10 and the S10 Plus that should get an update.BBut the Galaxy S10 and the S10 Plus are already 4 years old. And this automatically disqualifies them from receiving the upgrade.
Nonetheless, the S10 Lite has come to the end of the raod when it comes to system updates. The device will continue to receive security updates for the next two years as Samsung has promised.
The Galaxy M53 is also on the list of devices that are receiving the new system update. This comes as no surprise because the device was launched within this year.
