The Tecno Phantom X2 5G smartphone’s India launch has been confirmed. The Phantom X2 series recently went official in the UAE.

Tecno Mobile recently launched a couple of premium smartphones carrying the Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro monikers. Now, the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer is prepping to launch the Tecno Phantom X2 5G smartphone in India.

The Tecno Phantom X2 5G smartphone will be available for purchase in the country via Amazon. So, a microsite for the upcoming smartphone has gone live on the e-commerce website.

The Amazon microsite confirms the Phantom X2 5G will be available in two color options. Also, the Indian version will boast the same specs as the International model.

The Phantom X2 5G appeared on the FCC certification website with key details back in September. Now, the handset is headed to the Indian market.

Also, the Tecno Phantom X2 5G will go on sale in India starting January 9, according to the official Amazon microsite teaser. Interested buyers will be able to pre-book the handset starting from January 2.

Notably, Tecno Mobile will give a free Tecno Phantom X3 next year to those who pre-book the Phantom X2 5G. The company could announce the Tecno Phantom X2 5G smartphone’s India price between January 2 and January 9.

The smartphone is currently available in the UAE for SAR 2699 (about INR 59,100). The Tecno Phantom X2 5G smartphone’s price in India could be around INR 50,000.

Moreover, you will be able to choose between Moonlight Silver and Stardust Grey color options. Under the hood, it will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.

The handset’s triple rear camera setup will comprise a 64MP main camera sensor. Also, it will feature a 13MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor on the back.

For selfies, it will use a 32MP front camera sensor. The phone sports a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the display supports a Full HD+ resolution.

Further, a robust 5160mAh battery with 45W fast charging support will power up the entire system. Lastly, the handset will boot Android 12 with HiOS 12.0 on top.
