Renders of Honor 80 Pro Flat Display Variant Leaked!

Finally a new flat-screen Honor?

Honor 80 GT

The Honor 80 Pro has already debuted in China back in November. That phone came with an attractive-looking curved-edge OLED screen. Since then, we have had rumors about it going official, along with the Honor 80 GT and other phones. But that did not come true.

However, a new variant of the Honor 80 Pro has just leaked. And it looks pretty much like that phone but with a flat screen. The leaker has also spilled the beans on what the specs would be like. And it seems like the phone is off to a very good start.

Honor 80 Pro Flat Screen Variant Will Have a 6.67-Inch OLED Screen

According to Digital Chat Station, the Honor 80 Pro flat-screen variant will come with an FHD+ OLED screen that will be 6.67 inches. This screen is said to boast a refresh rate of 120Hz with PWM dimming at 1920Hz. And the best part is that the screen supports 10-bit colors.

In comparison, the regular Honor 80 Pro has a 6.78-inch OLED screen and curved edges. And instead of FHD+ resolution, that screen is 1.5K, which offers 1224 x 2700 pixels.

Other than that, the phone is also set to come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. On the front, there will be a single punch-hole that will house a 32 MP selfie camera. But the regular Honor 80 Pro comes with a 50MP and 2MP dual selfie camera module housed inside a pill-shaped cutout.

The flat-screen version is also rumored to come with a 160MP camera on the back. It is said to feature an f/1.8 aperture. The primary camera will supposedly be paired up with 8MP and 2MP snappers.

Furthermore, the flat version of the Honor 80 Pro is set to be powered with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The leaker said the phone would also come with a 4800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
