Recent reports show Oppo has been working on the Reno 8T series. And although we did get some info about the Oppo Reno 8T before, it seems like there will be two models.
Nonetheless, new information reveals that both devices will launch on the global market in January. In other words, the Reno 8T 4G and 5G models are about to hit the market in the upcoming weeks.
Specifications of Oppo Reno 8T 4G and 5G
The new leak shows that the Reno 8T 4G will be powered by an Helio G99 chipset. It is a potent mid-range chip that can offer great overall performance. Oppo will pair up the SoC with 8 GB of RAM.
Besides, the Oppo Reno 8T 4G is tipped to come with a faux leather back. This will give the device a premium look and feel. And the best part is that the device will support 33W fast charging through the USB-C. The other details about the device are yet to be revealed.

On the other hand, the Reno 8T 5G will most likely be a tweaked version of the Oppo A1 Pro 5G. And in case you didn’t know, the Oppo A1 Pro 5G is the most powerful A-series phone from Oppo.
Now, if the Reno 8T 5G is a tweaked version of the A1 Pro, it will come with Snapdragon 695 SoC. Again, this SoC is great at handling most of the day to day to tasks. The device might also come with a 6.7-inch OLED panel. This panel will have FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate support.
Other than that, we expect to see LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage on the device. Also, the phone can debut with a 4800 mAh battery that will have 67W fast charging support. And both the Reno 8T phones from Oppo will come with ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13.
