Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra gets new BMW Special Edition

Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series earlier this month. The devices were incremental upgrades over their predecessors, but these incremental upgrades were “quality-of-life” upgrades. For instance, the vanilla and Plus models brought bigger batteries. When it comes to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, was the most significant upgrade. Samsung keeps pushing this device as its true flagship, and the S23 Ultra brings a 200 MP camera, faster charging, and the biggest battery of the series. Since this is the most special variant, it also deserves a special edition to make it unique. Samsung has partnered with BMW to launch a new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Limited Edition.

The big catch is that this release is exclusive to Samsung’s homeland – South Korea. The new special edition has differences in the look and feel of the device. As you can imagine, the extra features add up to the price of the device, so this is one of the cases when the new edition costs more.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW Edition arrives

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Limited Edition costs KRW 1,727,000 which is just about $1300. The standard variant costs less in the country. We don’t think that price differences will push enthusiasts away. Only 1,000 units of the device will be sold, so collectors will likely run to grab their units. The device will be up for sale until February 13. This unit is available in a single option with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage.

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW brings a special package and additional accessories. As usual, there is a BMW-oriented packaging box. It comes with a hard case with the kidney grille and the G80’s hood design modeled by the classic BMW M3 E30 automobile. There are six badges on the phone representing BMW’s performance. We also have a BMW roundel that was unveiled last year in celebration of the brand’s 50th anniversary. The phone also has a unique boot animation with the BMW M3 car.

There are also other extras including a miniature air compressor, an analog watch, a sunglasses holder, a poster, a photo book, a keychain, and the metal “We Are M” emblem. There is also a Starter Pack Voucher for the BMW Driving Center in South Korea, given to lucky customers.

In terms of specs, it’s the same phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 200 MP main camera, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and One UI 5.1.
