These Samsung devices are now getting the Android 13 / One UI 5.1 global update

South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, has released its latest Android skin, One UI 5.1 to some of its flagships. Its 2023 flagship series, the Galaxy S23 series global version already have this new update. Now, there are reports that the company will release this update to more of its global flagships. According to user feedback, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting this update. These mobile phones are both 2022 foldable mobile phones from the company. In addition to these foldable mobile phones, the One UI 5.1 global update is now available for Samsung’s 2021 flagships, the Galaxy S21 series.

Galaxy S21 series, Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3 and others

The Samsung One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are now available with firmware version G99xBXXU6EWAF. The update is now available in Europe, including Holland and Germany. The update is expected to arrive in other European markets within a few days for Galaxy S21 series phones.

Furthermore, Samsung has begun issuing One UI 5.1 upgrades for some Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 models.  These foldable mobile phones will also receive the February 2023 security patch as part of the update.

The update to One UI 5.1 is still on top of Android 13, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s firmware version is F711BXXU4EWB1. The firmware version of the One UI 5.1 upgrade for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is F926BTBU3EWB1. These new software updates are currently being sent out in India and Thailand, with more markets anticipated to receive them in the coming days.

If the update is available in your region, you can go to “Settings” – “Software Update” and tap “Download and Install”. However, if you don’t find the update, just be a little patient, it will arrive pretty soon.

Samsung Galaxy S22/Ultra and Z Fold 4 start getting Android 13/One UI 5.1 in Europe

The One UI 5.1 system was initially introduced by Samsung with the Galaxy S23 series, which was unveiled earlier this month. Although only a few people have received pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has already begun pushing out the One UI 5.1 update to previous handsets. The Samsung One UI 5.1 update, with firmware version S90xBXXU3CWAI, is currently rolling out to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in Europe, bringing several important additions and UI enhancements. The update is presently accessible in Germany, but it is possible that other European nations will receive it in the coming days.

One of the new features in Samsung OneUI 5.1 is an easier-to-adjust tone for selfies and quick access to Expert RAW. Using shared family albums also makes it easy to share images with family members. To improve photo texture, the remastering feature automatically removes shadows and reflections. The gallery view has also been improved. Users can now view pertinent info by swiping up an image or video in the gallery. Users can also search for many people or subjects at once and pick where to save screenshots. Also, users may resize and move doodles by using three emojis in the AR Emoji camera. A new battery widget is also available to check the battery status of the Galaxy device.
