The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was a massive hit. However, the case was not the same for the S21 FE. That was probably why we did not get the S22 FE yet. Well, previously, we heard rumors about the phone being in the works. However, Samsung might ditch the S22 FE altogether. Instead, Galaxy S23 FE will land this year.

In fact, the launch of the Fan Edition of the Galaxy S23 series might be closer than you might have expected. According to Hankooki, a South Korean publication, Samsung plans to debut the phone in August or September. But the real question is, will it be as appealing as the Galaxy S20 FE?

What to Expect From the Galaxy S23 FE

The recent news hints that the Galaxy S23 FE will be available in more regions than ever before. And in case you didn’t know, the S21 FE launched in the US, Europe, and select Asian countries.

Nonetheless, with this news regarding the Galaxy S23 FE, it is pretty much confirmed that the Galaxy A74 will not be launching this year. Samsung learned its mistakes with the S21 FE and the Galaxy A73. So, it plans to cancel the A74 to push the sales of the S23 FE.

We don’t know much about what the specs of the Galaxy S23 FE might be. However, some reports claim that the phone will not come with the Exynos 2300 chipset. Maybe Samsung will pack the new Fan Edition phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Or maybe, it might come with the last year’s 8+ Gen 1.
