Samsung’s Bixby Kids Can Tell Stories, Play Music, and Suggest Add-free Games

Bixby Kids

The main reason why TikTok and many other popular apps are restricted in selected countries is that they do not take into account children’s rights. Many of those apps and platforms are ready to do anything for views and likes. But if adults (or most of them) can make smart choice on what to watch or whether the search results are relevant, kids can’t. Samsung, having one of the largest user base, including kids, has made its voice assistant Bixby more convenient for kids. Bixby Kids is already available for users under the age of 13 in the US and South Korea. But the latter varies from country to country.

What Does Offer Bixby Kids?

Bixby Kids is now available for child accounts on Samsung devices. Unlike the basic version, it offers kid-friendly content and responds to inquiries in an age-appropriate manner. Agree that queries vary from age to age. Replies should correspond to the user as well.

The South Korean brand informed that though Bixby Kids is available in the domestic market and in the States, more countries will be added to the list later. But we have no info on the timeline and roadmap.

Well, you can enable Bixby Kids via a Samsung account after creating a family group and setting up a child account. Once done, it will be more convenient for kids to use. For instance, kids can ask Bixby questions, and the AI will answer in an age-appropriate way.

Apart from this, Bixby Kids Edition can also tell stories, play music, and allow children to play games suitable for them. As Samsung’s Kids feature works quite well in One UI, there is every reason to think that Bixby will offer kids’ mobile games that are ad-free, don’t track kids’ activities, and prevent unwanted game purchases.

Samsung has also said that it will bring advanced language model capabilities to its AI. Samsung is working on tools like ChatGPT. The latter should help the company improve the user experience.
