Here’s What Samsung Has to Say About the Galaxy S23 Ultra Screen Issue

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra bubble

The users of Galaxy S23 Ultra have been reporting an issue with the screen recently. Few users have even been sharing photos and video recordings about it. Although the problem appears to be minuscule, the screen bubbling up at the near-end corner for a new phone is not something you would expect from a new phone, right?

Well, the small “bubble” on display is nothing new. It was present in the Galaxy S22 Ultra too. And as far as we can recall, the problem was also present in the Galaxy Note 10. So, does that mean that the corner “bubble” on the Galaxy S23 Ultra is not actually an issue?

The Screen Defect on the Galaxy S23 Ultra Is More of a Beauty Mark

As hinted above, Samsung had actually addressed the “bubble” issue before all the photos of the Galaxy S23 Ultra started popping up. In fact, Samsung already responded last year for the S22 Ultra.

Basically, what Samsung explained is that the issue is “a normal phenomenon” and does not affect functionality. And most importantly, Samsung claims that it does not impact the product’s lifespan.

Samsung explains that the displays of the Galaxy S23 Ultra are of multiple components. That includes a dustproof layer, tempered glass, and a waterproof layer. And the bubbling effect is nothing but a light refraction phenomenon, which can become visible at different angles.

But there’s no clear info regarding why it appears at a factory level. And let’s not forget to state that some of the S23 Ultra users claimed that their phones do not output this phenomenon.

Nonetheless, whatever the case is, Samsung claims that the Galaxy S23 Ultra, even with this issue, is perfect. And most importantly, it should not sway you from getting the new flagship device. In short, there’s nothing to worry about.
