Just like other flagship devices, Huawei’s flagship smartphones have always been great from day-one. However, Huawei Smartphones flap their wings really hard when it comes to zooming. The Huawei P30 Pro completely changed the game when it debuted the Periscope lens in 2019. Just in case you didn’t know, Huawei was the first company to feature a Periscope lens on a smartphone.
Other manufacturers have tried to do better with zooming but you just cannot write Huawei off. Not even in the mist of the multiple bans from the US government.
Huawei has released a couple of products at the MWC 2023 in Barcelona. However, expectations of seeing announcement of the Huawei P60 series are drying up as there are no signs of the devices.
Huawei P60 Pro Zoom Camera Samples Shared 
Nonetheless, the head of Huawei Smart Devices BG He Gang has shared some eye-catching camera samples. We suspect that these camera samples are from the camera of the Huawei P60 Pro.
Gang shared these camera samples straight from Barcelona and the image shows a new Huawei smartphone flexing its muscles when it comes to zooming.
The image focuses on an object in Barcelona that is erected high up in the sky with a beautiful moon light behind it. Even with the bright moon light, the image in focus still looks stunning with pure details. 
After making a four-step zoom of the image, you could even see clearer details in texture and color. Even after zooming out to the max, the image still maintains a lot of details which is quite surprising for a smartphone camera.

The focus of the photograph was not solely about the Montjuïc Communications Tower, but the moon as well. The camera of the supposed Huawei P60 Pro was able to bring the object closer with much details and able to detail-out the moon as well. We have seen a lot of moon zooming photographs but with this, it is completely above them all. The details of the object and the moon look just too good for a smartphone. 
Gang gave a little clue in his caption by stating that “New phone takes great photos”. Even though he didn’t make mention of the name of that particular smartphone, everyone knows that the only flagship phone we are all expecting from the company currently is the Huawei P60 Pro. 
Announcement Date for the Huawei P60 Pro
Many speculated that Huawei was going to make the announcement at this year’s MWC 2023 in Barcelona. However, nothing is confirmed so far as Huawei has kept mute on this. As a flagship device, the company may take its time to promote it very well. There is no official announcement date out yet but we will keep following closely and share the details should there be any form of announcements from the Chinese tech company.
