According to rumours, Vivo will launch a couple of new devices in April. Some of the speculated devices include the Vivo X Fold2, Vivo X Flip, and Vivo Pad 2. According to popular Weibo tech blogger, @DCS, the Vivo Pad 2 will come with the Dimensity 9000 flagship chip. This chip uses TSMC’s 4nm process and the CPU will use the “1+3+4” three-cluster Armv9 architecture. It includes a super-core Cortex X2, 3 large cores Cortex A710 and 4 small cores Cortex A510.
The Arm Mali-G710 MC10 GPU is integrated, and the CPU speeds are 3.05GHz, 2.85GHz, and 1.8GHz, respectively. On AnTuTu’s running score database, this chip has a score that exceeds 1 million. Also, the Vivo Pad 2 will come with a large battery that allows flash charging. This device will also come with a 12-inch high-resolution LCD full screen that supports 144Hz high-refresh.

By comparison, Vivo debuted its first tablet, the Vivo Pad, last year. It had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU, an 11-inch 16:10 screen, and a 2.5K resolution (2560×1600). It also supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz and had a starting price of 2299 yuan ($333). The tablet comes with 8GB of RAM and two different storage capacities: 128GB and 256 GB. The most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is anticipated to be included in the Vivo Pad 2. The dual back camera system on the Vivo Pad consists of a 13MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. The tablet’s back camera system allows 4K recording. It also has an 8MP front camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
As of now, there is not much information about the upcoming Vivo Pad 2. However, we expect this device to sell for almost the same or a slightly higher price than the original Vivo Pad. There is also no official information about the launch date for this new tablet.
