After multiple leaks, OnePlus decided to officially confirm the launch date for the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. Apparently, the device will be the first of a batch of new Nord series smartphones. It won’t come alone! We don’t know if there will be more OnePlus Nord phones, but we do know that the brand will also introduce the new OnePlus Nord Buds 2 on that date. There will be online streaming for the reveal and it will be taking place on Tuesday, April 4 at 19:00 IST.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite comes in a fancy “Pastel Lime” colorway
According to the company, it will be holding its “Larger than life – a OnePlus Nord Launch Event” in India during the first days of April. During the event, the company will introduce the new OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. The company decided to build the hype for the new smartphone by teasing its Pastel Lime colorway. We have to agree that this color tone is rather unique, and the closest we’ve seen was the Realme GT Neo2 in its Racing Edition.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is the lowest device in the Nord 3 family. The device will sit below a vanilla OnePlus Nord 3, and its “Cost-Effective” OnePlus Nord CE 3. Unlike these two devices, not much is known about the Lite’s specifications. The regular Nord 3 is a rebadged OnePlus Ace 2V. That means it will boast the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The CE 3, on the other hand, will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G. The Nord 3 will have a flagship-like performance. Meanwhile, the CE 3 will be an upper mid-range. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, obviously, will come under these two phones.
As per recent leaks, the CE 3 Lite will bring the old Snapdragon 695, a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The phone will also bring 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. It will carry a primary 108 MP camera with two 2 MP decorative sensors. It will draw its power from a 5,000 mAh battery complete with OxygenOS 13.
OnePlus Buds 2
We expect to see OnePlus teasing the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite specifications in the next week. As for the OnePlus Buds 2, the new device has the exact same design as its predecessor. Therefore, we expect the upgrades to be underneath. Unfortunately, OnePlus is missing the opportunity of selling a Pastel Lime edition of the OnePlus Buds 2. The TWS buds will sell in Black and White just like its predecessor. If there is a hidden Pastel Lime colorway, it is being kept under wraps.
The brand will likely being its marketing campaign in the next few days.
