Not long ago, GTA Online issued a statement saying that the “Last Dose” Hard Mode event would offer a number of unique rewards for the most persistent players. This limited-time promo has begun with the Los Santos Drug Wars update for GTA Online.
Limited-Time Only: Rare Items up for Grabs in GTA Online
Since the Los Santos Drug Wars expansion was released in December 2022, Rockstar has released a series of smaller content drops and promotional events. A month ago, these latest promotions offered double cash and RP incentives on all Grand Theft Auto Online Los Santos Drug Wars story missions.
Dial up the difficulty to earn extra rewards and rare collectibles in The Last Dose Hard Mode Event, a special challenge now running through May 17 in GTA Online.

This new promotion applies only to the second part of the expansion’s story missions, The Last Dose. From 27 April to 17 May, GTA Online players can earn 50% extra Grand Theft Auto Dollars and RPs for completing The Last Dose tasks. However, there are other benefits as well. Those who complete all of The Last Dose’s story material on Hard will also receive a unique Micro SMG finish.
Apart from the one mentioned above, for the next week, players can earn a double reward for completing the Acquire Targets fighter pilot training.
The latest update to Grand Theft Auto Online has added some futuristic shades in the form of Wraps Glasses. They are now available in most in-game clothing shops. For those unaware, Wraps Glasses appear to be a permanent feature to the popular online game.
We still don’t know how long Rockstar will keep supporting its hit game with regular content updates as GTA Online is getting closer to its tenth anniversary. In this sense, we should also recall that GTA 6 and its online variant are on the horizon. So big changes are coming soon.
By the way, Grand Theft Auto Online is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
