Which iPhone and iPad Models Are Not Compatible With the New Update

For iOS 17, Apple iPhone X and older devices are not compatible. That means if you are using one of the devices that launched before 2019, you are stuck with iOS 16. That means the oldest phone that can run the new update is iPhone 11.

On the other hand, the iPadOS 17 will not be compatible with the devices that launched before 2017. This indicates that the oldest iPad that can run the new update is the 5th Generation iPad.
