The recently launched Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is picking up a lot of attention. Considering the impressive features of this foldable smartphone, many are anticipating a global release. As a matter of fact, there are already a lot of rumors regarding the global availability of the device.

Xiaomi Communications Director Clears Up Rumors About Mix Fold 3

Ever since the official announcement of the Mix Fold 3, the brand did not really say anything about the global availability of the device. Xiaomi has now confirmed that it has no plans to get the Mix Fold 3 rolled out to the global markets. According to the Communications Director of Xiaomi, the device “will be available exclusively in Mainland China.” That means the phone is not going to challenge the Pixel Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the global markets.

But if you really want to get your hands on the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, there’s still a way. As we have recently covered, all the newly launched devices are currently available in TradingShenzhen. This store ships devices globally, eliminating the need to travel to China to purchase the new foldable device.

However, note that the device will ship with Chinese MIUI ROM. Yes, you can install Google Play Store. But the ROM is not optimized for Google apps. The same thing applies to Google services. Also, the China-exclusive Mix Fold 3 doesn’t support LTE Band 20, which could cause network problems in some countries.
