Google has made an announcement that it will start making Pixel smartphones in India from the coming year. In the past, Google produced most Pixel phones in various parts of Asia, with China being the initial manufacturing location. It was reported that the Pixel 7 was also manufactured in Vietnam. In the previous year, reports emerged indicating that Google was planning to shift at least a portion of its Pixel smartphone manufacturing to India.
Now, Google has officially confirmed these plans. According to a blog post, Google has announced that it will commence the production of Pixel devices in India, starting in 2024. This manufacturing shift will kick off with the production of the Pixel 8.
