OnePlus Nord N30 SE Passes By TRDA Certification

OnePlus Nord 30

OnePlus fans, and smartphone fans in general, are all eagerly waiting for the release of the OnePlus 12. The new flagship promises a powerful hardware, improved cameras and much more. While we are eagerly awaiting the release of this phone, OnePlus is working on a new mid-range phone for the Nord series. In fact, this device is not exactly “new”, but it has a “new” name. The company has implemented a rebranding strategy for its own releases. Therefore, it will re-launch the OnePlus Nord 30 as OnePlus Nord N30 SE. Through this article, we will share more details about the new rebranding.

The OnePlus Nord N30 SE has received its certification from the TDRA in the UAE. The certification confirms the name of the phone and give us its model number as well: CPH2605. At first glance, there are no problems, but upon further inspection we notice the familiarity. It shares the same model number with the OnePlus Nord N30, which was launched in North America, and the Nord CE 3 Lite. Therefore, we can conclude that the OnePlus Nord N30 SE is another variant of the same smartphone. The Spider-Man meme fits well here:

About the TRDA certification:

We expect OnePlus to clarify things soon, although the release of this phone shouldn’t be the buzziest. The OnePlus Nord N30 SE, like its siblings, will bring a 6.72-inch screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the phone will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage.

The bottom line

As we’ve learned through this article, OnePlus will soon introduce a new handset in the UAE called the OnePlus Nord N30 SE. Considering its model number, the phone is the same as the OnePlus Nord N30 (US) and the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite (India). The exact reasons behind this re-release are unclear, but it seems that OnePlus is just trying to generate some hype with the new name. In any case, it should be a small release without much pomp.

For now, the company’s real focus is on the upcoming OnePlus 12, which will soon impress with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and other appealing specifications.
