China witnessed the highly anticipated launch of the Red Magic 9 Pro flagship smartphone today. Alongside it, the Red Magic 9 Pro+ model was also unveiled, featuring slight differences in the power subsystem parameters.
One of the standout features of the smartphone is its flat screen, devoid of any notches. Instead, it boasts a cutting-edge fifth-generation under-screen front camera, boasting a resolution of 16 megapixels.

Powering the RedMagic 9 Pro is the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This processor delivers exceptional performance, aided by an advanced cooling system featuring a large vapor chamber and an active fan. The smartphone has earned impressive scores of 2.291 million points in AnTuTu at room temperature and 2.321 million points in laboratory settings.

The 9 Pro has a big 6500 mAh battery that supports 80W charging. On the other hand, the Red Magic 9 Pro+ comes with a 5500 mAh battery and supports 165W charging. Notably, the smartphone achieves a full charge in just 35 minutes. While the Pro+ model accomplishes the same feat in only 16 minutes.
Both models offer USB 3.2 Gen 2 support and boast stereo speakers, a powerful vibration motor, 3.5 mm headphone jacks, NFC chips, and IR emitters.
As for the camera capabilities, the main camera setup consists of three modules. These modules house sensors with resolutions of 50 megapixels (featuring OIS), 50 megapixels (equipped with an ultra-wide-angle lens), and 2 megapixels (dedicated to macro photography).
The Red Magic 9 Pro Dark Knight is priced as follows: $615 for the 8/256GB variant, $670 for the 12/256GB variant, and $725 for the 12/512GB variant.
For the Pro+ Dark Knight, the prices are set at $770 for the 16/256GB variant, $810 for the 16/512GB variant, and $980 for the 24GB/1TB variant.
