Xiaomi debuted the Redmi Note 13 5G in China back in September of last year. After about three months, the company has finally made the series available to the global market. Alongside the international rollout of the 5G smartphones, the Chinese phone maker has also announced the 4G models of the series.
As per the latest announcement, the 4G series of the Redmi Note 13 has two smartphones. Unlike the 5G lineup, there’s no Pro+. While 4G versions generally mean a lot of downgrades, some of the specs of the smartphones are the same as the 5G counterparts. Also, the 4G models come with a more affordable price tag.

So, at the current stage, the top performer of the 4G series is the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. While the 5G variant came with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, the 4G version has MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Xiaomi has paired this entry-level mid-range processor with up to 12 GB of RAM.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G also gets up to 512 GB of storage. This configuration makes the smartphone capable of handling daily apps with ease. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. It features FHD+ resolution and has support for a 120 Hz refresh rate. So, you can expect to get a great viewing experience out of the phone.
In addition, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G has Gorilla Glass 5 as protection. This will make the smartphone resilient to accidental drops. Another good thing about the display is that it has a peak brightness rating of 1300 nits. That means the viewing experience won’t degrade much when you’re in harsh lighting conditions.
As for the cameras, the Note 13 Pro 4G has the same ISOCELL 200 MP sensor found in the 5G version as the primary camera on the back. It comes with a 4x in-sensor zoom crop, allowing you to get pretty close-up shots without losing too much details. Xiaomi chose an 8 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro as the secondary cameras.
