Qualcomm is holding an event on March 18. We are expecting new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processors. Reports are surfacing about upcoming phones set to harness the power of these processors. The latest news is surrounding the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, let’s delve into the details.
The Redmi Note 13 series has multiple models. The lineup includes models like Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13R, and Redmi Note 13R Pro. Yet, one model remains absent from the list: the Turbo variant.
We have seen Redmi launching the “Turbo” version of their Note phone in China in previous series. Such as the Redmi Note 12 Turbo which came out last year. Globally, this phone was rebranded as the POCO F5. Hence, we anticipate the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo to also get rebranded as POCO F6 for the global market.

Redmi Note 13 Turbo Leak
The new leak comes from Smart Pikachu. According to the leaker, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Since the previous Redmi Note 12 Turbo featured Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, we expected the Note 13 Turbo to feature its successor. However, this leak suggests otherwise.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 may be an under-clocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Being a flagship processor, even the under-clocked variant will be impressive in performance. And the news that the upper mid-range Redmi phone is getting this processor is an exciting thing. It can be a potential “flagship-killer” phone if it comes with this processor. However, we must know that this is just a leak for now and we should wait for an official announcement.
As mentioned above, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo may get rebranded as POCO F6 for the global market. Talking about the release, we expect it around April/May.
