The leak comes from @smashx_60 on X, who has previously revealed a lot of information regarding other HMD products. Coming to the design, the HMD Tab Lite features rounded corners. It has a small camera module on the rear side housing a single shooter and an LED flashlight. From the rear, it gives a clean look. Not to forget, the pink color looks stylish. Moreover, there will be more color options including Black and Blue. There are not many tablets in the market with many color options. Hence, HMD might be taking this opportunity to bring the budget offering in various colors.

Expected Specifications

HMD Tab Lite may feature an 8.7-inch IPS display with a 1,340 x 800 pixels resolution. It is also said to have a peak brightness of 560 nits. However, no high refresh rate or other fancy features have been mentioned so far. Powering the tablet will be the Unisoc T610 processor. It is an 8-core processor that is made for budget devices. It can handle light usage such as browsing the internet or social media applications. The tablet will be configured with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.

The battery capacity for the HMD Tab Lite is said to be 5,500mAh which can be fast charged at 18W. For photography, the tablet relies on a single 8MP shooter on the rear and a 5MP shooter on the front. Additional highlights include 4G support.

Pricing

The HMD Tab Lite is said to be priced at 149 EUR roughly translating to 159 USD. It will be a budget tablet offering that may be suitable for users who have light usage. That said, we will update you whenever there is official information regarding the tablet.
