The push for 3D content slowed down in the past years since consumers didn’t appreciate the use of glasses for enjoying this content. However, some companies are still betting on this tech and nowadays some displays can show 3D content with the need for 3D glasses. One of these companies is ZTE, and the company decided to launch a new smartphone dubbed ZTE Voyage 3D. ZTE is known for its push into different technologies, and the company is one of the few that year after year, keeps launching devices with under-screen cameras. Now, we have a different device made specially for the MWC Shanghai.
ZTE Voyage 3D Features Glass-Free 3D Technology
The ZTE Voyage 3D is an Android smartphone with basic specifications and a 3D display that converts 2D content to 3D in real time. Of course, this is the main selling point of the smartphone. The feature dubbed Neovision 3D Anytime relies on a stereoscopic eye-tracking technology with a 60-degree viewing angle. A good comparison is the technology behind the Nintendo 3DS. It projects images with simulated depth creating a 3D effect. ZTE is working alongside the Chinese video platform Migu Video to bring more 3D content.
