At the beginning of this month, Infinix announced the launch of its Hot 50 smartphone, a 5G-enabled device. Shortly after, the company introduced a more budget-friendly 4G variant that shares the same design. But differs in several key areas, making it a solid option for those who donāt need 5G capabilities.
Affordable Powerhouse: Infinix Hot 50 4G with FHD+ Display
The Infinix Hot 50 4G is powered by the Helio G100 chipset, which replaces the Dimensity 6300 found in the 5G model. While this change limits the phone to 4G connectivity, users can expect similar performance. Both chips are built on a 6nm manufacturing process and feature the same CPU and GPU cores. The Hot 50 4G comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and offers storage options of 128GB or 256GB. Though the exact UFS version is not specified. Additionally, the phone includes a microSD card slot, supporting cards of up to 2TB. Making it ideal for users who need extra storage space.
Despite its lower price point, the Hot 50 4G includes a few upgrades compared to the 5G model.
