After multiple teasers and leaks, Nubia is officially here with the Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro+. The new gaming smartphones come to impress with raw performance thanks to powerful and impressive hardware. Some of the highlights include what the brand calls Snapdragon 8 Elite “Extreme Edition”. But another detail that certainly draws our attention is the battery capacity. The Red Magic 10 Pro has a huge 6,500 mAh battery,  and the 10 Pro+ has a monster 7050 mAh battery. It’s impressive, especially for a flagship. Without further ado, let’s dive into these devices’s specifications.

Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro and 10 Pro Arrive with Huge Batteries and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme

The Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro has a huge 6,500 mAh which is already a big advancement for a flagship. But Nubia Impresses more with the massive 7,050 mAh cell inside the Pro+ variant. This unit has silicon-nitride which allows Nubia to extend the capacity with more efficiency and with a more compact size. The 10 Pro has 80W charging, while the 10 Pro+ comes with 120W fast-charging support.

Both flagships share the same Snapdragon 8 Elite “Extreme Edition” chipset. We don’t know exactly how this compares to the regular, and recently-released, Snapdragon 8 Elite. We expect more details shortly. The Red Magic 10 Pro comes with 256GB or 512GB of Storage with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM as standard. The Pro+ variant, on the other hand, comes with either 512GB or 1TB and either 16GB or 24GB of RAM. The storage standard is UFS 4.1 Pro, a new upgrade over the well-known UFS 4.0.

Advanced Cooling System

The Red Magic 10 Pro and Pro+ are built to stay cool even during long gaming sessions. They have a special cooling system that starts with a huge 12,000mm² vapor chamber—basically, a part that spreads heat around to keep things from getting too hot. This new vapor chamber is 18% bigger than the one in the last model, so it can handle even more heat. On top of that, it uses a layer of copper and graphene to help cool things down even more.

One unique thing about these phones is that they use liquid metal for cooling, something you don’t usually see in phones. This special metal quickly moves heat away from the main parts of the phone. Plus, they have a super-fast fan that spins at 23,000 rpm. This fan helps blow heat out faster, and it’s extra strong to stay stable, even if you play games for hours. This whole cooling system helps keep the phone running smoothly without overheating.

Gaming Features, Display, Camera, and More

The Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro series is built for gamers, powered by the custom Red Core R3 gaming chip. This chip supports smooth gameplay at 120 frames per second (fps) in “2K” resolution, with enhancements like super-resolution and super-concurrency for a sharper, faster experience. Gamers also get two 520Hz shoulder buttons for quick controls, along with dual X-axis linear motors that deliver strong vibration feedback. It even has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rare feature that keeps audio options open.

Both phones feature a 6.85-inch BOE Q9+ AMOLED screen with a sharp 1216×2688 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth motion, and an impressive 960Hz touch sampling rate to capture every tap instantly. The display can reach 2,000 nits of brightness, making it great for outdoor use, and it supports both DC dimming and 2,592Hz PWM dimming for comfortable viewing. A 16MP under-display selfie camera is hidden within the screen, keeping the design sleek.

On the back, there’s a powerful camera setup with two 50MP lenses—a wide lens with a 1/1.5-inch OV50E40 sensor and an ultra-wide OV50D sensor—plus a 2MP macro sensor for close-up shots. This combination makes the Red Magic 10 Pro series well-rounded for gaming and photography.
