Vivo has launched the Vivo Y29, the successor to the Y28. This new smartphone comes with better performance and exciting features. It is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chip, replacing the Y28’s Dimensity 6020.

So, the Vivo Y29 runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. It offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You can expand the storage up to 1TB with a microSD card.

Also, the phone features a 6.68-inch HD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. It delivers clear and smooth visuals, with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a pixel density of 264 ppi. The display has a centered punch-hole design for the 8MP front camera.

So, on the back, there’s a 50MP main camera and a 0.08MP secondary unit. It also includes an LED flash. A ring light on the rear adds a unique touch. It lights up in different colors for notifications and music playback.

Additionally, the Vivo Y29 is equipped with a robust 5,500mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging to minimize downtime. For durability, the device comes with an IP64 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes and is MIL-STD-810H certified, signaling its toughness. Other key features include dual speakers, 5G connectivity for fast internet speeds, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner for convenient security.
