Chinese OEM phone maker, Infocus have a few new phones in the works, the most exciting being the Infocus IN810 which boats a Snapdragon 600 CPU, 4G LTE and SD memory expansion.
While browsing through the various OEM phones available, I came across the Infocust IN810 which packs some rather interesting features highlights from a phone manufacturing by a tier 2 company.
In the world of Chinese phones we are used to seeing Mediatek devices with the odd few highend Qualcomm phones seeping though here and there, so it makes a nice change for a smaller phone company to take the bull by the horns and throw a 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 CPU in to their latest phone.
Gizchina News of the week
Infocus have also managed to get LTE in the IN810, meaning network support for WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz, TD-SCDMA, GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, TD-LTE and FD-LTE. Other highlights include the 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, micro SD card and 13 mega-pixel main camera. The phone measures in at 139.5 x 72.1 x 9.5mm which is rather thick for a phone with just a 2200mAh battery.
Infocus are currently looking for OEM partners for the phone, so pricing and a launch date are still up in the air.
Is it that dreamphone?;)
One question: Is this phone has DualSIM function?
The only problem for me is the battery. I don’t mind much if the phone was thin, but at 9.5mm they could’ve stuffed a larger 2800mAh battery in it.
Battery and phone size need to be bigger for me to buy. 4G good.
If only it was 70mm width….
Inforcus aka a foxcon sub brand released in810 in Taiwan and Hong Kong since last November, the pricing for Hong Kong is HKD 3688 and this one doesn’t support dual sim.
