Chinese manufactures are just getting to grips with 4G LTE and the first few phones have started to roll off production lines. With so few phones with 4G LTE available now in China we have decided to create this list to include upcoming phones which have been confirmed to get LTE!

Below you will find the details of 10 4G LTE phones which are either available in China, launching soon or have been confirmed to get 4G LTE compatibility in the coming months!
Meizu MX4G
Highlights:
- U.S 4G LTE support: Yes.
- U.S Launch: Yes, later this year.
- Specifications: Other than 4G LTE nothing confirmed at this time.
- Other: 3 versions including a Mini MX4G.
2014 is looking to be Meizu’s year. The company have come back strong after the Chinese New Year with news of investments, a restructure of the company to make it more aggressive, and confirmed details that they will launch their next flagship phone in China, U.S and Europe!
The next generation Meizu MX4G likely won’t be launched until September, but already company executive Jack Wong is speaking loudly about his new baby, which will likely have a couple of younger brothers!

Apparently there could be a possibility of 3 4G LTE equipped new Meizu phones, and even a chance that the current Meizu MX3 will be updated with a Snapdragon 800 processor and also get 4G LTE compatibility. At this time though all we know is that the MX4G Pro, MX4G and MX4G Mini are in the works, but our sources say that at least one of the phones will be a Mediatek device aimed at the entry-level buyer for both China and abroad!

Oppo Find 7
Highlights:
- U.S 4G LTE support: Yes, (Verizon and Sprint unlikely)
- U.S Launch: Yes. International launch in March.
- Specifications: 5.5-inch 2K display, 4G LTE confirmed.
The much talked about Oppo Find 7 will launch in Beijing next month. The phone is confirmed to get 4G LTE support, a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display with a super tough coating and ultra sensitivity, but the rest of the hardware is unconfirmed. Recent news is that they will be 2 versions of the Oppo Find 7 the aforementioned 2K model and a mid-range version with a 1080p display (to replace the Find 5).
Rumours and leaks state the Oppo Find 7 will ship with Android 4.3, with the chance of a CyanogenMod version, 16 mega-pixel camera, Snapdragon 800-805 processor, 3GB RAM and a new faster charging solution.
One Plus One
Highlights:
- U.S 4G LTE support: Yes, 4G LTE bands 1/3/4/7/17/38/39/40/41 (no Sprint of Verizon support).
- U.S Launch: Yes, available online.
- Specifications: 4G LTE confirmed, custom CyanogenMod OS.
The One Plus One is the most mysterious phone on the list and although very few have seen it (myself included) we know very little about the hardware. What is confirmed is that the phone will have 4G LTE for the above 9 categories, we also know that OnePlus are committed to launching a phone which will be a no compromise device at a great price. We can’t say much more about the phone or design without spilling the beans, but the model we saw came in a bright colour, so colour options are a possibility.

About US support, did you consider that 4G LTE is not used for voice calls yet (noone launched Voice over LTE networks or phones yet except maybe South Korea, and I doubt Chinese phones support it either?). So a Chinese phone that happen to support one LTE band in the US but maybe doesn’t even support the GSM frequencies (and certainly not 3G) can be used for little more than a broadband modem.
You should probably write about LTE support for Europe instead, as the phones will be usable as actual phones there too… The overlap between Chinese phones and LTE bands in the rest of the world is quite slim though.

As nice as LTE support would be for the NA market, as of right now, it is MUCH more pressing, to finally get worldwide 5+ band 3G UMTS/HSPA+42 support, including the here essential bands 5 (850MHz), 4(AWS) (1700+2100MHz) and 2(PCS) (1900MHz), so that China phones actually become useful on this continent as well and not only in EMEA and the Pacific realm.
So PLEASE add those crucial bits in all your future China phone announcements/reviews/introductions!
Huawei Honor 2 is pentaband WCDMA since over a year already. It’s still receiving updates, has 2GB RAM, 8GB storage, quadcore, HD screen, MicroSD-slot, replacable battery and now at around $200 it’s a much better buy than most other Chinese phones as long as you don’t need dual-SIM.
By the way, most Samsung and other big brand phones doesn’t have pentaband WCDMA.

Andi, thanks for the list. I am excited about the Chinese manufacturers moving into the U.S. market in a more significant way. I believe that it will result in the loosening of the death grip that carriers have on the consumer here. And will hopefully drive us to realize that everything that we have and do here is not always the best, even though millions of advertising dollars tell us otherwise. It amazes me how Americans look down our noses at anything that we can’t satiate our need for instant gratification with. Apple moves a volumn switch half a millimeter and tells us how awesome their NEW model is, and we break our necks to go out and get it right

I bought an Elephone P6000, but it doesn’t work on the T-Mobile 4G network. My internet speed with the T-Mobile sim is 0.08Mbs. I cant do anything with it unless i’m on wifi. The add stated that it goes up to 2100Mhz. Why doesn’t it work and how can i fix it to work? I live in US
There is two 2100MHz bands, one is called AWS band (T-Mobile is there) and other is IMT band. They have same downlink frequencies of 2100MHz but uplink frequencies are different. When you buy phone be sure it states “Band 4” not only “2100MHz” since that may be wrong 2100
