With just 10 days left to go before Pete Lau and the rest of the OnePlus team launch the OnePlus One, a leaked screenshot of the OnePlus One’s homescreen does the social networking rounds!
We had already seen screenshots from the OnePlus One, not only the first screen shots from the anticipated phone but also the first look at the all new CyanogenMod UI which the phone will be boasting. With just 10 days to go before launch another screenshot has leaked showing us for the first time the UI and icon designs the OnePlus One will use.
Gizchina News of the week
CyanogenMod 11S is the name of the speical version of the popular ROM the OnePlus One is running, ans as you can see from the above image is looks totally differenct from the standard Android look of CyanogenMod builds which have gone before it. The flat UI design is similar to Flyme, Amigo and even IUNI OS which is currrently very popular on flagship devices.
The OnePlus One will launch in Beijing later this month and has been confirmed to have a 5.5-inch 1080 display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM and 13 mega-pixel Sony rear camera.

Any 1 know if it has from start google market and FM Radio?
It will probably have the Google play store pre-installed. Not sure about FM radio though.
Yes FM radio. Yes Play Store as well.
Hi dude yes its confirmed to have google play store already installed & also a fm radio 🙂
Will it be rooted from stock?
Pretty sure it won’t.
Guaranteed that their will be instructions to root it within a few days of launch. 😉
Not rooted by default, but all you need to do is flash superuser in recovery. Super easy
thanks for info m8 🙂
They’re going to get a lot of hate if they actually remove the app drawer. I do like the icons though, they look like Flyme with a more cartoonish colourful look to them.
With the KitKat launcher they app drawer icon is something you can decide to put in the tray… or not put there. They just removed the icon. I’m sure they still have it.
The app drawer is there. This picture isn’t legit.
It doesn’t actually look all that different than the KitKat launcher. The icons are all changed, but other than that, it’s VERY close to the stock Android look on my Nexus 5.
Describe how you feel about this. Pleased? Disappointed? Expected better?
Well… I really like the KitKat launcher (stock 4.4), but I can’t said anything about the OPO CM 11S version until I use it.
There isn’t a way to adjust the number or rows and columns on the KitKat launcher, but clearly there is on the CM version (since they changed from a 5 icon tray to 4 icons). And they haven’t put any widgets (except for the clock) on the screen. The screenshot isn’t showing “folders” but that doesn’t mean they don’t support it.
It’s just not possible to say much without trying it out or seeing a demo.

Is there any info on what basebands this device will support?
3G on 850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz bands, LTE bands yet to be announced.
From an earlier Gizchina article:
“According the OnePlus Google+ plus post, the One smartphone will have support for 4G LTE bands 1/3/4/7/17/38/39/40/41. Those 9 bands cover most major LTE networks bar one! It looks like OnePlus don’t plan on offering a device which will play nice on Verizon in the U.S!”
So this practically covers the whole world, although the absence of LTE band 20 means you have to pick you carriers carefully in Europe.
It’s not a case of “picking” carriers. Most mobile contract users will always place preference on their carrier as opposed to a brand new startup phone from an unknown company. They should have included Band 20 from the start, people with 4G Band-20 contracts aren’t going to buy the OPO, instead they will buy another phone WITH Band 20, and it serves them right. Never Settle? They settled on LTE.

Nope, sorry but that isn’t what the OnePlus One will look like.
That looks more like ColorOS than CM11S. OnePlus One will have a mostly AOSP look to it.
