Our sources at Elephone have confirmed that an LTE equipped smartphone is coming very soon!
Since the end of last year China’s Elephone have been focussed on producing Android smartphones for markets outside of China. Their original P6 was a low-cost device with working GPS out of the box, and the P7 looked great while offering great hardware at a low price.
Gizchina News of the week
Elephone now have a few more phones in the works, the Elephone P10 and the Elephone P1000. Elephone sent over details of the P10 earlier and we will post them today, but the really exciting news is that the Elephone P1000 is on the way too with built-in LTE support.
There is no scheduled launch date or pricing for the P1000, but chances are that the new LTE phone will come equipped with the new Mediatek MT6595 octacore processor and as such will feature equally high-end features making it the next Elephone range topper.
Could Elephone be the first to launch an MT6595 phone? Let’s wait and see.

There are already several low-cost LTE phones from Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE, Coolpad etc.
I’m really waiting for this Elephone p1000,I like if they add latest mt6595 instead of snapdragon801,it gives more feature in camera too hope its camera is better than any other phones if they want this phone to be flagship killer,If it gives tough competition for opo in price with that cyano mod & screen size, mico sd support & long lasting removable battery I’m definetly going to buy this phone.Hope they add fast charging feature for this huge phone.
Hope its display doesnt ruin the battery of phone.
