A video posted on the official Meizu Facebook page could be the first glimpse of the upcoming Meizu MX4 flagship smartphone!
The video posted on Meizu’s timeline was posted earlier today with the simple message “A magical piece of metal”. The short film simple shows the a metal chassis from a phone transform from raw material to finished product in the space of a short fall. The video has sparked interest as it could be the first offiical teaser for the upcoming Meizu MX4.
Previously Meizu bosses went on the record to say that their new phone would not use a stainless steel chassis, so if this is from the new phone it would have to be made from some advanced metal alloy, possibly an CNC’s aircraft grad alloy or even titanium!

The price will be as always high!
Meizu products are usually top quality. They’re the type of phones you show an Apple lover and even he’ll like it. The only manufacturer I know that can match that at a cheaper price is Jiayu, and they’re currently going through an identity crisis right now. Oppo are close behind, but they’re phones are usually more expensive than the other Chinese manufacturers.
Vivo too,and Lenovo when they feel like it,and Huawei’s D and only the D line. On the subject of price,Meizu are restucturring to go after Xiaomi,so you may be surprised there. Sadly JiaYu are confused,G6 and S2 are totally overpriced compared to tradition of their aggressive pricing.
I thought Meizu were launching a separate brand under bigertech – to compete at a cheaper price ?
Bigertech is not a phone brand, rather tech website like engadget.
