A serious explosion at a factory in China has left 68 people dead and another 200 workers injured.

The factory, a subcontractor for Foxconn, suffered an explosion leaving almost 70 workers dead and 200 more seriously injured. The factory which manufactures parts for famous phone makers Apple, Xiaomi and Meizu suffered the blast during the weekend.

This is not the first time that workers at a factory close to Foxconn have been injured and killed, and again brings worker safety conditions under the spotlight for Chinese factories and those companies using them.

Umm, Eduardo…you need a complete rewrite. The accident in Kunshan had nothing to do with Foxconn. The government has now ordered inspections of other metal polishing facilities…that will have something to do with Foxconn.
