Little Pepper are back to releasing firsts (there were one of the first Chinese companies to release a quad-core phone) with the release of the Little Pepper 5 with dual 4G LTE SIM support.
The Little Pepper 5 is designed around a 1.7Ghz Octacore MT6592 processor with Mediatek MT6290 LTE modem which gives the phone both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE network support. This set up also allows the phone to use WCDMA and GSM networks too!
Aesthetically it the new phone is very similar to the ZTE Nubia range of phones with a choice of white, gold or black bodies and metal surround where the sim trays and physical controls are located.

A 5.5-inch 720p laminated display lives on the front, along with a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera. The rear camera is a 13 mega-pixel snapper and inside there is 1GB RAM, and 2700mAh battery. Dual noise reduction microphones, electronic compass and Android 4.4.2 Kitkat finish the list of features off.
The Chinese launch date is August 8th and pricing is set at 1399 Yuan. If you are in China Jingdong mall will be selling the Little Pepper 5. International customers will have to search for resellers.
A bit overprice with only 1G RAM. I’ll get it if it’s 2G ram.
Yeah agree. The price is a little high and the battery is quite small with 2700 mAh. 3500 would have been better.
