Looking for an affordable Android phone, but don’t want to go down the Mediatek route? Well take a good look at the Snapdragon powered Lenovo A330E.
While we would all love to have a powerful flagship phone, it isn’t always possible or needed, and a lower powered handset might be more suitable. The Lenovo A330E, coming soon, will sit at the very beginning of their smartphone line up, but pack the new Snapdragon 200 chip.
The little Lenovo will be taking on phones which will primarily be powered by budget dual core Mediatek chips, and as such the Qualcom MSM8610 Snapdragon 200 is a dual-core chip with dual SIM capabilities.
Gizchina News of the week
A 5-inch 480 x 854 display takes up the front of the A330E with wide bezels giving the phone overall dimensions of 142.5 x 72.5 x 9.9mm. 4GB meory, a 2 mega-pixel camera and a 2000mAh battery make up the rest of the phone, and should ensure the phone comes well under budget.
They only eyebrow raising details of the phone is the use Android 4.3 when the phone is only running 512mb RAM, seems odd considering Android 4.4 has been available for months and is better suited to low RAM environments.
Lenovo will release the Lenovo A330E at the end of the months with the companies social network channels being the main retail method.
