Leaked photos from China that show a fingerprint scanner on the Oppo N3 now look to be confirmed in a new official Oppo teaser.
Just moments ago Oppo updated their Facebook page with another Oppo N3 teaser image depicting what we believe to be a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The N3 is the replacement for last year’s Oppo N1 which had a rear mounted touch panel, that panel has now been left at the roadside in favour of the added security of a fingerprint reader.
Then again Oppo could be going down the LG path with a rear mounted volume rocker and power button.

As the official teaser confirms what we saw in this leaked photo, we have to assume that the N3 isn’t going to be the compact phone we had thought, but another long Oppo smartphone like the Find 7 and N1.
The teaser also shows the leather look finish on the rear camera pod, dual LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack mounted on the right side of the device.

Apple, Hawei, Oppo and Meizu is area-type fingerprint scanner. On the other side, Samsung and HTC is swipe-type. I guess Samsung and HTC will adapt area-type fingerprint scanner to Samsung Galaxy 6S and HTC One M9 Max on March 2015.
Jack on the side ??! How are you supposed to even ust that when the phone sits in your pocket ?
lol, literally DOA, what were they thinking? Thats a deal breaker
bluetooth headphones/earbuds maybe?!
