We all know in this day and age that benchmarks are not what make a great phone, but still it is interesting to see just how a phone can compare. Here are benchmarks of the Meizu MX4 Pro for your viewing pleasure.
The Meizu MX4 Pro launched on Wednesday of last week and since the launch I have been using the latest Meizu smartphone as my daily device. Previously I used a combination of Vivo Xshot and Meizu MX4, and in all honesty can say there is no notbale performance difference between the 3 phones (which speaks volumes for the Mediatek chip in the MX4).
Specification of the Meizu MX4 Pro include a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1536 display, octacore Samsung Exynos 5430 chipset, 3GB RAM and in my case 32GB memory (there is also a 16GB and 64GB version too).

So far the Meizu MX4 Pro is running rather well, I am really happy with Flyme 4.1 which is by far the most stable Flyme version for a Meizu device at launch (that’s not to say there aren’t a few bugs). As long as everthing goes to plan we will have the full Meizu MX4 Pro Review up very soon.
how does the battery life compare to the non-pro mx4? i’d be really interested to know what sort of screen on time you get on LTE. thanks!

Yup these are my benchmarks from my device I can tell you that they are accurate.

non-verified does not mean it is fake! I have tried Antutu Benchmarks on soo many phones and for soo many times. Even my Note3 registered non-verified and the scores were glowing RED numbers after each Antutu version update.

Mx4 pro is slower than mx4???????? So why is pro? And something else: I think mk6595 is more power full than snap 801 (maybe not so civilized). So really how many phones in production are more power full than the simple mx4?

One thing you all should understand is that the Mediatek MT6595 has a more powerful processor than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 and even 805. It’s processor performance also beat the nVidia shield too. It’s only lacking in the gpu department where the Snapdragon’s Adreno 330 and the 420 in the SD 805 really kicked the butt of the POWERVR g6000 Rogue.
Snapdragon only wins these days because everything’s better optimised for them. In raw power, the 6595 is more powerful
“raw power” ? …. in term of cpu speed yes … but GPU is also part of the SOC …. and 6595 uses PowerVR6200 which comparable with last gen Adreno 320…not to mention K1 GPU
Oh yeah, I wasn’t meaning the GPU. Snapdragons beat out pretty much everything other than Tegra K1 on that front.

+1 on that, if you don’t mind. If US GSM LTE bands were supported, that would be quite spectacular, not to mention impressive.

Definitely the gpu is worse in benchmarks than the adreno but you really don’t see any difference in any game that is out there. I’ve seen dozen of reviews about meizu mx4 and all confirm that. Everything on max detail and without lag.

All phones/devices are being reviewed on current games and ofc in 2 years from now these devices will not be adequate for the new games out there…. it’s called technological progress!
I have a NOTE3 (snap800), MX4 (MT6595), MX4 PRO (Exynos 5430), THL 5000 (MT6592) all of which I installed and play alternately the INJUSTICE GOD AMONG US game. When I get home I play an average of 2 hrs and with my Note3 it crashes minimum 3x in the middle of gameplay. The game never crashed in my other devices which are mostly MTK powered. But i should commend the MX4 PRO for having the most stunning (2K resolution) and flawless gaming experience (Mali-hexacore) even compared to the Adreno330 which even with the games characters Super Special ability animation that chokes and jitters.
how do your 2k MX4 pro fare in term of battery ? even LG G3 suffers a bit …
I guess they are normal benchmarks considering that the screen is bigger and more resolution. Graphics seems to work better than the standard.
My honest opinion is that in both phones you will see no difference in real life use, for the current games.
Maybe this extra 1 GB ram will be a bit better for pro for stuff like multitasking/web browsing etc.

Andi, were you able to use the 4G LTE yet? I cant seem to get mine to work. But the 3G H+ is working exceptionally well. But once I switch my antenna to 4G priority my signal just dies and cant switch back to 3G unless I reboot. Do you have the same experience?

did you try to enter APN of your network manually?
I had the same issue on my MX4, and adding APN manualy resolved the problem.
I did at first but it force closed the settings app. But after a minute i got my H+ signal and my 3G settings are auto detected and are already in my APN profile. Will contact our local 4G network provider if there is a specific APN setting for LTE and hopefully work.
