The OnePlus One caught the tech world by surprise this year, but the real test is if they can do it again with the OnePlus Two. Take a look at these rumoured specs and see what you think.
Around this time last year a new smartphone maker started to makes some noise by claiming it could take on the big names in tech. OnePlus have obviously done well, with their phones making waves and launching in 17 countries (18 tomorrow with India).
So with such a great success first time around what can we expect from the next generation OnePlus Two? According to Chinese tech site MyDrivers, the OP2 could get the following features.

- Snapdragon 810 64bit processor
- Adreno 430 GPU
- 5.5-inch QHD display (1440 x 2560)
- Around 3GB LPDDR4 RAM
- Android 5.0 Lollipop by Cyanogenmod
Of the rumoured features, the last point seems the most unlikely. After Cyanogenmod teaming up with Micromax in India and causing issues for OnePlus, we believe the partnership could be on its last legs.
The rest of the specs though seem good and match what we believe most flagship smartphones will be boasting in the next few months, but where is the killer feature? With other manufactures competing at a similar price point OnePlus are going to need more going for them to keep up.

Bit disappointed if i’m honest. There was a huge amount of talk and support on the forum for a smaller phone and one plus claimed they had been listening, clearly they haven’t if this is true. Spec is obviously great but the size is still in my opinion too big, would have liked to see something around 5 inches. Also as much as I like my oneplus, the whole ordering process lack of customer service and uncertainty about cyanogens future may mean I look elsewhere next time.
These are just rumours so we will have to see. I’m wondering if we will actually see a real OP phone this time around or just another rebadged Oppo
we got bored of big sized phones. It is measured that only 26% of possible phone buyers like a phone of 5.5 inches. So many manufacturers target this 26%. Almost noone (except) Jiayu and Sony targets clients that like phone lower than 5 inches.

Yes the ideal size has to be 5 inches but nowadays all manufacturers are building 5.5 inches with good specs and the buyers are forced to go for it , as there are less 5 inch phones with good specs
I’m afraid that big screen-sizes will be a leitmotiv of next coming years. I know that size doesn’t matter but, obviously, you’ll get what you’ve paid for π Big screen + big resolution on a small and smaller device…
All that specs. Same price. The price IS the killer feature.
The phone itself is not better than its competitors (apart for the Cyanogen software, which can be flashed without much problems in most of them), so the only REAL thing that makes the difference is price.
Yup, that and it can be bought at a low cost outside of China. If Huawei, Lenovo or someone do something at a similar price with better availability then they could be in trouble
Cannot agree more, they’re not considered a threat, but if they try to launch “seriously”, in large numbers, they’ll probably be sued by someone and forced to raise prices. π

All specs are perfect to me, today speaking. Who knows what future months (weeks?) will provide us?
Lollipop or Cyanogen is a very small issue to me.

5-inch dual sim with same specs as OPO1 would be the new killer. Price should be a bit lower, like β¬249 for 64GB model

I don’t think that the Snapdragon 810 is going to be seen in flagships next year, maybe in the next nexus. I expect the Snapdragon 805 to be the most common choice for manufacturers.

Anything to burst out Antutu score beyond 60-65k π
haha. Dual SIM IS a MUST! Maybe, tri-SIM is a “nice to have” π
and how about the fast charging that OPPO is holding back?
Funny how the first thing i care about is SD.
And i’m so fed up with Snapdragon in all the high end phones, we really need others to attack that market.
I’m currently using the OPO and 5.5″ screen is a great feature to have in my opinion. Besides, 5.5″ will allow OnePlus to cram bigger battery into the phone and that’s a big plus. Really hope they can keep the screen size and maybe slim down the bezel a little more and everybody will be happy. Snapdragon is the gold standard in the industry and I see no one can challenge it next year. Remember quick charge is an exclusive feature on Qualcomm chip at the moment. Best software support, best power consumption and best LTE support. I would be very happy with the 810. Qualcomm will have their developer edition of their phone & tablet available mid December already. So it almost a given that it will power almost all of next year flagships.
And buy the time this releases people will actually be able to purchase the One Plus One without jumping through hoops.
Am happy with snapdragon 805, 5inch screen, 3gb ram, Sony imx230 with dual tone flash and removable 3100mah battery with fast charging. Same price for 64gb.
OnePlus is not capable of doing anything on their own! OPPO first has to release a phone, which OnePlus will borrow from (scale down features), if OnePlus One is anything to set an example.
